Man arrested for beating and robbing another man

RONCEVERTE, W. Va. (WVNS)-- A Greenbrier County man faces robbery charges after beating and robbing a man on Morgan Hollow Road. 

Court documents state on Sunday January 28, 2018 a state trooper was called at a home on Morgan Hollow Road in the Ronceverte area of Greenbrier County. The trooper found a man wih severe injuries to his head and other areas on his body. The man said he believed he was attacked by four people including, Kenneth Hoke. He said medication and his cell phone was taken. 

On Tuesday, January 30th officers found Hoke and the others at a home in the Rupert area. One of the witnesses admitted she set up the victim to be robbed. She said she asked the victim to come over and when he arrived at the home Hoke and another man ran to the car and pulled him out and beat him with a tire iron.

The victim told troopers after beating and robbing him, Hoke got into another car and drove off. 
Hoke is charged with armed robbery. 

According to court documents, Hoke was convicted of aggrivated robbery in 2006 in Greenbrier County. He was also convicted of robbery in Alleghany County, Virginia.
