"One Team One Fight" benefit to be held for local police officer recovering from gunshot wound

ALDERSON, W. Va. (WVNS) -- Several police departments and the National Alliance for Law Enforcement are coming together to raise money for a local police officer who is in the hospital recovering from a gunshot wound.

The "One Team One Fight!" benefit for Mac Brackenrich will be help at the Community Center in Alderson from 12-5 p.m. on Sunday, December 3.

Brackenrich is a police officer and fire fighter who was critically injured on October 28th in an off-duty incident. Organizers said Brackenrich and his family are facing a very long road ahead and the goal of this benefit is to help make that road as smooth as possible.
