White Sulphur Springs Police Department gains two new officers

WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W. Va. (WVNS) -- The White Sulphur Springs Police Department gained two new members this week.

Officer N. Patton and Officer Z. Hudnall said on Wednesday they are ready to help the community of White Sulphur Springs. Patton served in the military, as a military police officer, and is still in the reserves.

He said he is eager to have a positive impact on the community and help in anyway he can.

"I think being a public servant is more of an honor than anything at all. I don't look at my accomplishment as in graduating, I look at it as I'm doing it for the community," Patton said.

Both officers have the goal of using the DARE program to help educate children about the dangers of drug abuse in the future.
