Gov. Jim Justice Calls for changes to PEIA's Go365

After hearing several concerns from educators across the mountain state, Governor Jim Justice is calling on officials to remove penalties associated with the latest version of the PEIA's Healthy Tomorrows Initiative.

According to a news release from the Governors office, the newest tool of the PEIA Healthy Tomorrows Program, the addition of the Humana Go365, will be 100% voluntary for PEIA policyholders with no penalties tied to the program.

Justice added removing the penalty was a step in the right direction.

“We needed to get the $25 per month penalty removed,”  Governor Justice said.  “I understand the challenges our families are struggling with today and this was the right thing to do.”

Governor Justice also said he has been assured that PEIA can remove the proposed premium penalty of $25 per month with minimal financial impact to the plan.
