ORGINAL STORY: A woman from Mercer County is facing charges for trying to set up a teenage girl with her convict boyfriend.  Stephanie Bailey, 37, of Rock, WV is accused of Sexual Abuse by the Parent Guardian or Custodian. She was arrested on Monday, Oct. 17, 2016.

According to the criminal complaint, Michael Watkins, who is an inmate at Pocahontas State correctional center in Virginia, was having conversations with Stephanie Bailey during July 2015.  The two have been in a relationship, but are not married.  During the calls, the two would discuss Bailey setting up Watkins to have sexual intercourse with a teenage girl when he is released from prison.

The goal was to have Watkins impregnate the girl and then claim the child as their own.  That is because Bailey is no longer able to have children.  The calls were monitored by prison officials and passed on to investigators in Mercer County due to the content of the calls.

Bailey was arraigned in Mercer County.  She was released on a $25,000 bond.
