Attempted murder suspect faces new charges of breaking and entering

STANAFORD, WV (WVNS) -- A man who is facing charges of attempted murder for shooting at deputies in 2014 is now facing new charges.  Grover Jordan, 50, and Crystal Wall, 29, are accused of breaking and entering and petit larceny in connection with a pair of break-ins at a house trailer in Stanaford.

Deputies with the Raleigh County Sheriff's Office were called to investigate the break-in at a house trailer on Deepwood Ave. in Stanaford on Feb. 1, 2018 and again on Feb. 4.  A K-9 unit was able to track Jordan to a location on Stanaford Road where investigators said he dumped his clothes before getting into a vehicle to leave the area.

According to a release, deputies were later called to a domestic dispute between Jordan and Wall. The two were arrested at that time.  Jordan is being held in the Southern Regional Jail on a $75,000 bond.  Wall is also in the jail on a $30,000 bond.

Jordan is still facing charges of attempted murder in connection with an incident in December 2014.  He is accused of shooting at deputies at his home in the Terry Beach area following a domestic dispute that happened at that time.  That case is still pending in circuit court.
