Raleigh County Schools Hosts 2018 Social Studies Fair

Social Studies was on the agenda at Woodrow Wilson High School as the school board hosted its annual social studies fair. 

Students from all across the County participated in the educational fair including elementary, middle and hih school students.
They were all encouraged to select a topic from different categories like American History, West Virginia Studies and political science. 

5th Grader, Bryce Ford, from Bradley Elementary decided to do his research before the fair.

"I wrote about what conference they were in how many Heisman's  they've had and how many national titles titles they have had," Ford said. "I've always liked them the way the played the way their coaches are and i know the coaches are from West Virginia here so I've really au every since I was a kid."

First place winners from today will advance to the regional fair which will be in March.
