PRINCETON -- He said there is a lot of work to be done in 2007.

Green said he intends to focus on new coal technology and he wants to bring a coal conversion plant to southern West Virginia.

Green said the plant will bring a lot of benefits to the Mountain State.

"It's going to do a lot, to use the coal reserves not to mention the employment of coal miners and workers and construction costs. It's going to be a win-win situation for the state and our area," said Green.

Another topic on the table for the 2007 session is tax reform.

Green said that he feels very strongly West Virginia needs to revamp its tax code.
