Voters in Summers County are going to be headed to the polls again soon.
They're being urged to vote for an excess school levy.
The election is scheduled for May 21st.
Summers is one of 12 state counties without an excess levy.
County commissioner Jerry Berry says it's the community's responsibility to take care of their youth.
If passed, the 75 percent levy would generate around one point 4 million dollars per year.
That money would be spent to directly improve children's services, to improve support for kids and school employees and to finance improvement projects.
