Woman devastated by the loss of her bird.

By Jessica Lilly

BECKLEY -- Not too long ago, 59 News brought you a story about a peacock living in the Beckley area.

The peacock has since gone missing and the owner is desperate to find her pet.

Nellie Shrewsberry said the last time she saw her peacock was last Friday afternoon.

She's said in the seven years she's had the bird, he's never left the neighborhood.

The peacock's name is Pretty Boy Napoleon.

Shrewsberry said she's not the only one who misses the bird. Many of her neighbors also upset about the bird's disappearance.

She is asking for any help to find the bird. The bird is blue and is shedding feathers because of the time of year.

If you have any information of where the bird is or what might have happened to the bird you can send us an email.
