BECKLEY -- West Virginia's own Taylor Made is officially Nashville.
Tuesday the group announced on 59News that they've signed a record-deal with the DMP label.
The label is Dale Morris Productions. Dale Morris and Associates, Inc., has served as Taylor Made's management group for nearly two years.
Taylor Made is comprised of siblings Greg and Brian Duckworth and Wendy Williams. The trio are just part of a group of seven siblings. The Duckworth's grew up in Grafton in Taylor County.
Their mother started them all early, teaching them harmony and they got their start singing in churches.
Greg Duckworth, who lives in the Beckley area, says they'll have a nation-wide single release soon. Duckworth said it might be the popular "Heavy Duty Beauty."
Taylor Made has a large following. In the Beckley area, Power Country 105.9 has been playing their music, as well as WKKW in Morgantown.
2007 was a big year for the group as they performed in front of thousands at the West Virginia State Fair, Friends of Coal Auto Fair, Strawberry Festival and several other venues around the state. It appears 2008 might be even bigger.
A country music legend, Alabama's Randy Owen, is also on their record label. He's releasing his solo record with DMP on www.weblastonline.com.
