Clocks change and so should the batteries in your smoke alarms.
BECKLEY- -- This weekend, don't forget to set your clocks back an hour as Daylight Saving time comes to an end.
Fire fighters say you should use that extra hour to think about safety.
When you change your clocks this weekend, fire fighters say it's the perfect time to change the batteries in your smoke detector.
Officials say you should have a smoke detector in every bedroom.
But the detectors can't be a lifesaver unless they're working properly.
Again, you'll need to set your clock back on hour on Saturday night before you go to bed.
