MORGANTOWN -- A legendary sports writer is helping a Morgantown hospital raise money for expansion and renovation.

Micky Furfari signed copies of his new book, "Mickey's Mountaineer Memories" Wednesday, at the Sports Memorabilia Day at Mon General Hospital.

Furfari has covered Mountaineer sports for more than sixty years.

He says the book is full of old columns and fond memories.

All kinds of sports memorabilia was on sale including: footballs, autographed pictures, and jerseys.
