BECKLEY- -- A seminar was held in Raleigh County Thursday, all to remind people of the importance of being nice.
The Beckley Raleigh County Chamber of Commerce Hosted a "Knock Your Socks Off Customer Service" seminar Thursday at the Erma Byrd Higher Education Center.
Organizers invited business owners and leaders to find out how to become a problem solver and how to handle irate customers.
"We're just trying to remind folks how important it is to pay attention, to listen to the customers, meet the needs that they have. They're good reminders." Ken Lilly, organizer.
Robin Asbury was the guest speaker at the seminar.
She is an authorized job profiler and the director of West Virginia Workplace Education programs.
