BECKLEY -- James Williams, 49, of Beckley and Charles Bradley, 37, of Oak Hill are both being held in the Southern Regional Jail.
They're accused in a stolen property ring that spans from West Virginia, into Virginia, Maryland, Tennessee and Kentucky.
Police say they were wanted for stealing laptop computers from Wal-Mart stores.
The men are also accused in a shoot-out with police in Ohio.
Troopers say cooperation between agencies is key to getting suspects behind bars.
"We know who the bad people are in our area and that's the same if I have something, a suspect in Maryland, I call up there. They have the people they can go to, their informants," said M.A. Painter, WV State Police.
Williams was found in the Econo Lodge in Beckley where $6,000 in computers and Nintendo Wii systems were recovered.
Over $4,000 in cash was also found.
Troopers say Williams led them to Bradley in Fayette County where stolen items were also found.
