Oak Hill Teen Charged in Fatal Accident

18-year-old Blanche Anderson is being held on $100,000 bond.

BECKLEY -- Raleigh County deputies say Blanche Anderson is charged with DUI causing death, DUI causing bodily injury, aggravated DUI and underage consumption of liquor.

She's being held in the Southern Regional Jail.

Deputies say Anderson was driving on Route 16 in Bradley when she crashed into a telephone pole.

23-year-old Jessie Anderson died in the accident.

18-year-old Zachary Watkins suffered a head injury and broken bones.

The accident happened on July 4th.
