I am NOT without compassion for this child and pray for her recovery. However I do hold each one responsible for not saying anything that saw the alleged look of terror, as you say, on this childs face. Too many people think, "I don't want to get involved," and say nothing. Those that claim they saw this WILL have to answer on judgment day.

I have never had a chance to meet Kadie, but she is a distant cousin. I don't understand how someone could hurt a young angel in this manner. To the family, we are constantly praying for her quick recovery.

Someone said He who is without sin, can cast the first stone" Under no means do i think im without sin. Everyone sins the bible clearly states that. Its just some people break the law and expect to get away with it...like Micheal linkous. Yea i know he's in jail..(eating,walking,watching tv, sleeping.) wow, aweful. People need to be taking this from the toddlers side of view. How would ya like to be in a hospital bed, getting skin graphs, not abel to walk, in alot of pain, and not eating. Thats the aweful part, and it isnt' OUR respnosibilties to say or do anything it was and is the mothers. :). Justice will be served i know. Gods word says "be sure your sins will find you out"

Well all of you just go ahead and keep on protecting Mike as much as you want. No one said anything because no one knew the truth. Unlike people that say this stuff...everyone else did not want to point fingers until they were for sure. The only person to blame is the adult that was supposed to be watching the baby when all of this happened. Mike now gets to sit in jail while this poor child has to suffer in the hospital. Everyone that is sticking up for Mike apparently has not been to see the child and to see the results of what he did to her and to see how much pain she has to go through now.

i think people need to mind there own buisness because if this was there child and they were in jail for it than people wouldn't have time to talk shit about other people so i think people need to back off him and start thinking about there life and if it was them

Some people state that Michael should not have been given the responsibility of taking care of this child. He should've known from the start when he first got together with the childs mother that if they furthered the relationship he would have responsibilities for the child. Either people were saying that he wasn't responsible enough or they simply want to blame others to protect him. When a mother or father whips their child for doing something wrong, the child does not become terrified of them and reacts the way this poor baby did. Something had to go on between this man and this child for her to all of a sudden become so terrified of him. A 2 year old can not make something up this big right off the top of her head. I love you and Ill be praying for you!!!! =) <3

well, all i know is the look on that toddlers face at the mention of mikes name proofs to me that theres something wrong with the situation. It wasnt just a scared look it was a horrified look. I dont care what anyone says about mike being an "angel" you can't trust everyone you know. i've always had a bad feeling about him. The toddler is going to have to get SKIN GRAPHS on her feet! All i know is that baby is a precious child and does not deserve to get treated that way! I love you little cuz <3

Well G'ma, if Mike was so innocent then the little toddler would actually like him. That right there already says something. So then the little toddler wouldn't cry and scream EVERY SINGLE time she see's him.

Both sides of the story are with the cps. They are not good for your michael. ER visits are working against him as there are several "accidents" while under his care. Yes, children do get hurt but, not to this extent and this many times in just a short while. Anyone who has seen the look of terror on that baby's face when he comes around will no something is not right. In fact, several people has made that very statement. Justice will be served!!

Michael is NOT this type of person that they are making him out to be. Yes, there have been other incidents with this child like her skinning her nose after coming down a slide but that does NOT make him an abuser. Children have all kinds of accidents and can't be watched 24/7. I admit that he should not have left her alone in the tub but Michael has not had the domestic training from the get go. He should not have been given the responsibility of taking care of this child in the first place.

The law enforcement these days, are just looking to put another notch in their belt. They like to 'high five' each other when they THINK they have solved a case. I watch all the law shows on TV and there are so many people that get wrongly convicted, serve time, and don't even get an 'I'm sorry' when they are released. Forensics is a good thing to convict the guilty but I think that they are taking it too far at times. I would not want to be a mother in these times, as it seems at the least little thing, they want to convict a person. There are guilty ones out there, and yes, they need to be behind bars. Children should not have to suffer at these peoples hands. If this goes any further, I will be very disappointed in our justice system. It would ruin this young man's life and time he wouldn't be able to get back. Try and put yourself in his shoes.

In essence, you CAN'T give a determination until you've heard BOTH sides of the story!

If Mr. Linkous did not do this, what responsible adult would leave a 2year old alone in a bathtub ? This evidently is not the first time this child has suffered an unexplained injury . Maybe while in jail Mr. Linkous will suffer a busted lip, twisted ear, bruising and burns so that he knows what pain this precious child must have felt. Hopefully CPS will place her with other family member to give her a safe, drug free, loving home.

First off, I hope and pray that she makes a full pain free recovery. As for Michael CPS will investigate and see if he honestly put her in a tub of scolding water. In my opinion a 2 yr old toddler didn't put herself in it while being watched by a drug free sane adult... We love you Little Angel!!!!

You can't honestly believe he would purposely do this. Michael is a very caring person, that would never intend on harming anyone.
