Fayette County Deputy Hurt in Motorcycle Accident

It happened over the weekend near Hico.

FAYETTEVILLE --  A Fayette County Deputy was hurt in a weekend motorcycle accident.

Sheriff Steven Kessler says Deputy Steven Gray broke his neck when his motorcycle crashed.

It happened early Saturday morning near Hico. No other vehicles were involved in the accident.

Gray has been released from the hospital, but he's not expected to return to work for another 4 to 5 weeks.

Gray has been a deputy in Fayette County for the past 10 years.
