$25,000 worth of marijuana removed from the streets.

Sophia -- Sophia Police report some progress in the war on drugs in their community.
City police officers say they made a significant drug bust Thursday, recovering 25 thousand dollars worth of marijuana and 3 firearms.
Police say 20 marijuana plants were recovered from a residence in Sophia just before 1 o'clock Thursday afternoon.
No arrests have been made at this point, but officers say those arrests are pending as their investigation continues.
