As part of planned Aug. 1 increase, WV Parkways Authority raises North Beckley Plaza rate.

CHARLESTON- -- The quarter-toll plaza that connects Route 19 to the West Virginia turnpike won't be a quarter for much longer.
Starting next Saturday, Aug. 1, the toll will go up to 40 cents at the North Beckley exit.
For drivers with an EZ Pass, the toll will only increase by one penny to 26 cents.
Next Saturday the toll goes up to $2 per car at the main toll plazas in Ghent, Pax and Chelyan. The cost will be $1.30 for EZ Pass holders.
You can buy an EZ Pass to cover all the plazas if you are a commuter or load it with a pre-paid amount if you are an infrequent user.
