Firefighters battle an early morning vehicle fire on the West Virginia Turnpike.

BECKLEY --- -- A passenger vehicle caught fire in the Turnpike early Tuesday morning.
Raleigh County Emergency dispatchers say was reported just before 3 o'clock Tuesday morning.
The vehicle was in south bound lanes near mile maker 48, just before the North Beckley exit.
Dispatchers say there were no injuries and that no one was around the vehicle when fire crews got on the scene. The fire was put out quickly.
Bradley and Pax Volunteer Fire Firefighters and Troopers with the Turnpike Division responded to the scene. The cause of the fire is not known at this time.
