Construction and power issues have been resolved.
BECKLEY -- While West Virginia students headed back to class Wednesday, problems forced some Raleigh County schools to close.
A power outage kept kids who attend Coal City Elementary, Independence Middle and Independence High School home. But officials with the Board of Education say those problems have been resolved. All students, at all grade levels, should report to class tomorrow at Coal City Elementary, Independence Middle and High Schools.
Also, Park Middle School in Beckley was closed Wednesday due to construction. There will be school at Park tomorrow, Thursday, August 27th. All students should report.
