Fayette County Domestic Dispute Results in Gun Fire

One man was injured.

POWELLTON -- A domestic dispute turned to gun fire.

According to the Fayette County Sheriff's Department, Michael Jackson, 30 of Smithers, was shot several times, early Saturday morning.

Police say the incident happened just before 4:00 a.m. in the Powellton area.

Jackson was reportedly treated and released at Charleston Area Medical Center.

The investigation is on-going.
