State Fire Marshal is trying to determine what caused two overnight fires.

Berwind -- According to Berwind Fire Chief, Claude Adams, both fires happened along Rift Berwind Road in unoccupied homes.

One blaze stared just before midnight Thursday, the other immediately after. Adams says he believes arson is to blame for both fires.

No one was injured.
