SHADY SPRING -- The Fall Book Sale is going on at the Shady Spring branch of the Raleigh County Public Library. This is one of two sales the library hosts each year.
People looking to pick up some cheap books can get a deal. Hardbacks are being sold for $1 each and paperbacks are only $.50 each.
Library branch manager Carol Sponaugle says the money raised by the sale funds special programs at the library.
"It's a great way making money to be used at the library," says Sponaugle.
The book sale continues October 2 and 3, 2009. Hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday.
