It's scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 24th, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
BECKLEY -- The Raleigh County Health Department received the H1N1 vaccine this week.
So far, it is the only health department in southern West Virginia to receive doses of the vaccine.
There is a swine flu shot clinic scheduled for next Saturday, Oct. 24, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Beckley-Raleigh County Health Department on Harper Road.
The shots will only be given to the following groups of people:
Children and young adults between the ages of 6 months through 24 years
Pregnant women
People who live with or care for children younger than 6 months old
Health care and emergency medical service workers
People ages 25 through 64 who have certain health conditions such as HIV, diabetes, or heart or lung disease
There is no charge for the vaccine. Contact the health department at 304-252-8531, extension 0 for more information.
