Starting Monday, Nov. 9 community members are encouraged to recycle their gently used footwear for those less fortunate. "We want to help people that are less fortunate than us. In winter time it's really cold and shoes are really important. And you don't think about it if you don't have any. But those who don't have shoes, we just want to give them a gift, a pair of shoes," said Chelsea Macias, MSA student.

Shoe donations will be accepted in the school's office on South Kanawha Street in Beckley through Nov. 20.
