COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Ohio High School Athletic Association has announced the times and sites for the regional semifinal round of the football playoffs.
On Friday night, one Division III Region 11 semifinal pits Steubenville Big Red (10-1) and Salem (9-2) at Woody Hayes Quaker Stadium in New Philadelphia. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.. The winner advances to the regional final to take on the winner of the Dover (10-1) / Canal Futon NW (8-3) game.
In Division VI Region 23, the Shadyside Tigers (6-5) will battle Grove City Christian (10-1) at Sulsberger Stadium in Zanesville. The game is scheduled to start at 1 p.m..
The winner of the Shadyside / Grove City Christian game will meet the winner of the Bridgeport (10-1) / Malvern (10-1) game, which will take place at 7 p.m. Saturday at Harding Stadium in Steubenville. The Hornets knocked the Bulldogs out of last year's post-season. |
