GLEN JEAN -- A brush fire in Fayette County has burned roughly 40 acres according to fire officials.
Emergency Services for Raleigh County said a call came in just before midnight of a fire in the Garden Ground area. The Boy Scouts of America had recently purchased that property.
No word yet on what caused that fire, although reports say that several fires were burning at once. The fire was contained around 7 a.m. and by 11 a.m. fire crews had put out the flames.
