Crescent Elementary School celebrated Freaky Friday.
By Kate Krivanek
BECKLEY -- A Raleigh County School mixed things up a bit.
This week Crescent Elementary School wrapped up American Education Week with Freaky Friday. Students got to dress as teachers and principals, while teachers dressed as students. Educators said it's a great way to keep things fun at school.
"We want to motivate our kids. We want them here everyday. And anything we can do to make the day fun for them and motivate them to get here in the morning, we'll do it," said Teacher, Robin Lilly.
Students also participated in school spirit day, wearing maroon and white this week and national spirit day, in red, white and blue.
