The victim hospitalized following gunfire in Indian Creek area.
INDIAN CREEK -- A Wyoming County man is behind bars after deputies said he shot his neighbor.
Deputies said Leland Moody, Junior, 49, shot Roger Helmandollar in his own garage.
It happened just after 8 p.m. Dec. 2 in the Indian Creek area just outside of Pineville.
Deputies said Moody went over to the home, demanded money then fired a rifle, hitting the victim in the arm. He is charged with malicious wounding and two counts of wanton endangerment.
The victim is in stable condition and Moody is being held in the Southern Regional Jail. |
