Scotty Boothe was convicted in October on several charges.
FAYETTEVILLE -- A Wyoming County man was sentenced in Fayette County court Dec. 4 on sex abuse charges.
Scotty Boothe, of Mullens, will spend at least 35 years in prison.
He was convicted in October of sexual assault in the first-degree and two counts of sexual abuse in the first-degree for crimes committed against a 5-year-old boy.
Booth was sentenced to 25 to 100 years on the count of first-degree sexual assault and 5 to 25 years on each of the two counts of sexual abuse.
Those sentences are to be served consecutively.
