FAYETTEVILLE --  Fayette County Sheriff Steve Kessler said Kenneth Neal, 69, of Scarbro was found dead inside his home after an early morning fire.

Kessler said crews were called out to the fire in Scarbro just after midnight Thursday, Dec. 17.

The home was in the Wingrove Hill area.

Firefighters with Oak Hill, Mount Hope and Fayetteville all responded to the blaze.

The State Fire Marshal was called in to investigate.

Kessler said the fire does not appear to be suspicious.

Neal's body was sent to the state medical examiner's office for an autopsy.
