SULLIVAN --  Family members said Greg Walker died when his family home on Sullivan Road burned late on Dec. 23.

The fire was reported just before midnight and when firefighters arrived on scene the home was fully engulfed by flames.

Investigators with the State Fire Marshal's office and the Raleigh County Sheriff's Department are looking into the cause of the fire.

Firefighters from the Beaver, Ghent, Mabscott, and Coal City volunteer fire departments responded to the scene.

Walker's body was sent to the state medical examiner's office for an autopsy.

Walker was a 1985 graduate of Shady Spring High School.
