LEWISBURG -- While snow piled up quickly in Lewisburg, it was removed just as quickly.
Locals went to bed Friday with several inches on the ground, and more on its way. By the time many woke up roads were clear.
Tim York, a long-time resident in Lewisburg, said this was the quickest he’s seen road crews react to a winter storm this season.
“They must have had them out in full force, we heard the trucks running all night,” said York.
According to the Greenbrier County 911 Center, roads were clear and running smoothly. A few early-morning slips and slides occurred but nothing much in the later parts of the day.
