As a WVU alum I was outraged over the poor student behavior, especially their unawareness over how easily the national media exploits these infractions to depict the state as hooligans smoking on corn cob pipes ... if not funny cigarettes. The students need to grow up – have fun, but act responsibly.

How much you want to bet that the ESPN announcers' first topic in the pre-game show is about the fan behavior at the Pitt game and not the game against Villanova? At any other school, this would be a dead issue by now. But at WVU, the place where 'fans burn couches' the stereotype is continued. To the idiot fans who throw stuff at any game - get drunk & stay at home to throw stuff at your TV instead.
