Deputies said Lonnie Garcia was wanted for allegedly failing to appear in court.

LEWISBURG --  Greenbrier County deputies have arrested a man wanted in Mercer County.

Lonnie Garcia, 36, of Rainelle was considered a fugitive from Mercer County after he allegedly failed to appear in court to answer charges.

He's charged with one count of obtaining money under false pretenses in Mercer County.

Greenbrier County deputies arrested him near his Rainelle home on Saturday, Feb. 6.

Troopers said Garcia was arrested in 2008 after he allegedly sold air-conditioning units to people in Mercer, Raleigh, Pocohontas and Kanawha Counties and never delivered the products.

Garcia is now being held in the Southern Regional Jail.

He'll be arraigned in Mercer County.

i think its a shame that you publish a story like a hardened criminal when you dont know all sides and the whole truth. First of all this man and the man that filed charges has ben in a payment agreement and Mr. Garcia was not aware until his Oct that he had a warrant b/c he was under the impression that since he and the victim came to an agreement that it was over. To make a long story short when he found out there was one he just had a total hip replacement and came back to WV to turn himself in but before he could was arrested. This is unfortunate and your news team really should question everyone and all parties prior to putting stories on the air and i hope you give the Garcia family an opportunity to talk to the press and tell their side.
