In an effort to step into someone else's shoes WVNS-TV's evening news anchor, Lauren Weppler, is performing various jobs around the community.
Tuesday, Sept. 27 Weppler was trading places as a Fayette County teacher's aide, but this week she had to use her physical abilities to trade places as a dance instructor.
Weppler helped teach a ballet and jazz class at Valley Dance Studio in Lewisburg. From first position to leaps, Lauren tried her best to direct the young ladies into the correct position.
Valley Dance Studio Instructor and Owner, Cate Bennett said she just wants her dancers to enjoy themselves on the dance floor.
"If they can walk through the studio door and forget about their day and just want to be here and put the music on and let themselves be themselves while they're dancing then they've succeeded in here," she said.
Weppler did get to teach the girls the robot, one of her signature moves.
Weppler's next job will be at Toot in Lewisburg on Saturday.
