The West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Greenbrier County has announced that Cabinet Secretary of the West Virginia Department of Education Kay Goodwin will deliver the school's 35th commencement ceremony.

In an effort to step into someone else's shoes WVNS-TV's evening news anchor, Lauren Weppler, is performing various jobs around the community.
The sound of the whistle started Weppler's day as a coach for the North Beckley Bulldogs.
Weppler had the task of running drills and plays for the more than 20 children ranging in age from 6 to 8 year olds.
She said she quickly didn't know much about the game of football, but the actually head coach Jerome Bange was there to assist Weppler.
"You're like a lot of these kids they didn't know anything when they came here this year," said Bange.
Bange has been coaching the North Beckley Bulldogs for years and he says the love of the game keeps him returning to the field.
Next Tuesday, Weppler will be trading in her whistle for a ruler to teach kindergarten in Fayette County.
