WEDNESDAY
A cold front will begin to approach the area from the west so we will see sunshine to start the day before clouds, rain and thunderstorms arrive in the evening hours. Some storms could produce small hail and gusty winds. High temperatures ahead of the front will still be warm, near 80.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT
Scattered showers and storms continue with possible small hail and gusty winds. Low: 59
THURSDAY
A much better chance of steady rain for more of us as a cold front makes its way through the area from west to east. Models aren't really throwing us any hints of severe storms, but with a cold front running into this heat, let's leave the option on the table of at least a few strong storms possible. Highs in the low to mid 70s.
FRIDAY
Clearing from west to east and much cooler as high pressure from the Great Lakes moves in. Look for drier air by Friday night. High: 62
SATURDAY
Sunny and comfortable. Highs: low 70s.
SUNDAY
Partly cloudy. Highs: mid 70s.
