Being a broadcast meteorologist is an absolute dream come true for Ari. Ari joins us from WLIO in Lima, Ohio where he spent the last two and a half years working as a morning meteorologist. Ari has an extremely viewer-oriented, conversational style and prides himself on providing detailed weather information while having fun at the same time.
Ari lives for active weather. He remembers tracking hurricanes in his parents' road atlas as a very young child. He was glued to the TV during weather reports throughout his childhood, and becoming a weatherman was always something hoped he could make a living doing.
Ari was busy throughout high school in Milwaukee… being a band geek, science geek, and all state wrestler was a lot to juggle. A proud Badger, Ari attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he attained his degree in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences. After a short internship at WTMJ in Milwaukee, he sent out some tapes and ended up in Lima, Ohio.
In his free time, Ari enjoys tracking storms, playing Xbox 360, watching football/hockey and being a major neat freak around the house.
Feel free to shoot Ari an email for any reason, at anytime … he loves hearing from viewers.
