The West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Greenbrier County has announced that Cabinet Secretary of the West Virginia Department of Education Kay Goodwin will deliver the school's 35th commencement ceremony.
Brittany Rainey joined WOWK in June 2011 as the weekend meteorologist. She is a native Floridian, but has worked as a meteorologist at television stations in Montana and Nebraska. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in meteorology from Florida State University and also has a minor in math.
When she is not in the Storm Tracker Weather Lab covering storms, she likes to take her dog Squiggy for long walks. He is a sassy Italian Greyhound/Miniature Pinscher mix with a ton of energy. Brittany practices yoga everyday, while Squiggy walks on the treadmill with a back pack to drain his energy. She also enjoys reading, baking, shopping and watching movies.
