Samantha Cahill is a native of Lewisburg, W.Va. She first discovered her journalism interest through her newspaper and video production classes at Greenbrier East High School. She graduated from East Carolina University in Greenville, N.C. in 2010.
Her degree is in communication with a concentration in journalism. In college, Sam produced videos to promote the university nationally, and produced and hosted a women's health show.
After graduation, Sam worked for WITN in Washington, N.C. as an associate producer. She then left to take a position as a marketing assistant for the State Fair of West Virginia. She is excited to be back in her hometown as a reporter.
Away from the office Sam loves to run and workout, shoe shop, watch sporting events, spend time with friends and family, and cheer on the ECU Pirates, the Mountaineers, and the Buffalo Bills.
