Virginia Tech's great season is getting noticed. Running back David Wilson was selected as the player of the year in the conference as well as the offensive player of the year. Wilson has accumulated 1,595 yards. That is 203 yards away from tying the ACC's single-season mark, which was set by Virginia's Thomas Jones in 1999.

Quarterback Logan Thomas finished fifth in the voting. Last year, Hokied QB Tyrod Taylor won the honor. Virginia Tech will try to win its fifth conference title in eight years on Saturday when they face Clemson.
