Mountain State got a little revenge tonight at the Armory. Pikeville won the last two meetings, including last year's NAIA Championship, but the Cougars responded with a wire-to-wire victory. Cam Miller started hot and stayed hot. He scored 13 in the first half, and then poured in 20 in the second half. The Cougars are now 9-3.
Yesterday, the new NAIA rankings were released. MSU, the preseason second-ranked team, fell to ninth, while Pikeville fell from first to 22nd. Mountain State is back at home on Saturday, December 10 against Campbellsville.
