Herd Falls to No. 3 Syracuse

It was the toughest test of the young season for Marshall. The Herd traveled to Syracuse and lost by 6 in front of a hostile environment. Marshall couldn't muster much offense in the first half, being outscored 31-18. The Herd responded by outscoring the Orange in the second half, 38-31. Marshall falls to 5-2 on the year. Dennis Tinnon led the team with 17 points and 15 rebounds. The Herd is back at home on Sunday, December 11 against Iona.
