
Concord topped Wheeling Jesuit 89-84 in a WVIAC game at the Carter Center. A back-and-forth first half led to the Mountain Lions taking a 40-38 lead heading into halftime. Concord was up 10 at one point in the second half, however the Cardinals stormed back to within a few points but could never retake the lead.
Romel Kemp paced the team with 17 points and Cory Willard added 15. In all, five players scored at least 10 points. The Mountain Lions improve to 4-3 (3-2) on the year. Concord will host Pitt-Johnstown on Saturday, December 10 at 3:00 p.m. The team will also honor Concord hall of famer Lewis D'Antoni at halftime.
