
Javaughn Manuel hit a three-point shot with two seconds remaining to lift host Concord over Pitt-Johnstown Saturday at the Cater Center. Manuel shined the whole game-racking up 22 points. Both Corey Neeley and Romel Kemp added 20 points in the winning effort. The Mountain Lions improve to 5-3 overall and 4-2 in the WVIAC. Concord has a week off before traveling to face Charleston on Saturday, December 17.
At halftime during the contest, CU honored hall of famer Lewis D'Antoni. D'Antoni grew up in Mullens and played basketball, football and tennis at the school. He just published his memoir, titled "The Coach's Coach". The 97-year-old's sons, Mike and Dan, both are on the coaching staff of the New York Knicks in the NBA.
