After a 38-10 loss to Clemson in the ACC Championship game, most analysts pegged Virginia Tech's bowl destiny to be the Chick-Fil-A Bowl in Atlanta. That's the postseason game normally reserved for the second-best team in the conference. But speculation didn't match the official pairings. Instead, the Hokies were slated to play in the Sugar Bowl against No. 13 Michigan. The Allstate Sugar Bowl will take place on Tuesday, January 3 at 7:30 p.m.
