BECKLEY -
A husband and wife face charges after police say they stole televisions from a Raleigh County Wal-Mart.
Sheriff's deputies arrested Jason Wickline, 33, and Julia Wickline, 29, of Beckley on one count each of grand larceny and conspiracy to commit a felony.
The two are believed to have entered the WalMart in MacAruthur on December 8th through a side entrance.
Detectives say they loaded a shopping cart with 3 large, flat screen televisions and walked out the front doors without paying.
Detective Brian Stump with the Raleigh County sheriff's department said tips from the community helped lead to the arrest of the Wicklines. He said this time of year, crimes like this are all too common. "They're taking advantage of the amount of people that are out shopping. Its kind of hard to see what one or two individuals do, so they're taking advantage of that."
The Wicklines were arraigned in front of a magistrate and sent to the Southern Regional Jail.
Jason Wickline is being held on $30,000 bond.
Julia Wickline is now free after posting $25,000 bond.
